How to upload your first single (and make it findable)

Once you are verified, uploading takes a few minutes. Getting the details right is what makes the track findable afterwards, on the platform and in search engines.

Before you upload

• Audio: upload your master. WAV files are converted to AAC in your browser before upload, so large files are fine.
• Cover art: a square image, ideally 3000 by 3000 pixels. It is resized for every screen and used for link previews when the track is shared.
• Credits: know who is featured. Featured artists get a credit line and, when they are on the platform, a link to their profile.

Fields that matter

• Title: exactly as released elsewhere, so listeners recognise it.
• Genre: pick the genres that fit; the track then shows up on the matching genre pages.
• Language: the language of the lyrics.
• ISRC: optional, but if the track has one, add it. It is published as structured data so search engines can match the recording.

What happens after publishing

Your single gets its own public page with the cover, credits, genre, language, duration and a 30-second preview for visitors without an account. It appears on your artist page and in the sitemap, and it can enter the Top 10 once people play, like and share it.

Share it

Post it to your feed with a few words about the track. Posts with the track attached are what the most-shared chart counts, and the post is what your followers see first.
