User-Generated Content: We collect content you post, including:

Analytics: We measure how the platform is used with Umami, an open-source analytics tool that we host ourselves on our own server in the EU. It does not use cookies, does not store IP addresses and cannot identify you as a person. It records page views, page load performance and a few product events (such as when a track is played), aggregated per day. No analytics data is shared with third parties.

- Personalization: Recommend music based on your listening history, customize your feed and discovery queue

- Security: Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Legal Compliance: Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
- Marketing: Send promotional emails about new features (you can opt-out anytime)
4. How We Share Your Information
Public Information: Certain information is publicly visible by default:
- Your display name, username, and avatar
- Your bio and public profile information
- Music you upload (for artists)
- Public posts, comments, and playlists
- Your followers and following lists (if public)
Public information can be indexed by search engines and AI assistants. Set your profile to private or remove content to take it out of public view; our sitemap is refreshed within an hour and we ask search engines to drop removed pages.
With Other Users: When you interact on the platform:
- Artists can see who likes, plays, and shares their music
- Friends can see your activity feed (if you've enabled this setting)
- Direct messages are private between participants
Service Providers: We may share information with third parties who help us:
- Host and deliver content (cloud storage providers)
- Send emails (email service providers)
- Process payments (payment processors)
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to:
- Comply with legal processes
- Protect our rights and property

- Your profile and content are removed from public view immediately
