How to become a verified artist on SODAMNTUFF

By the SODAMNTUFF team · · 3 min read

Uploading music on SODAMNTUFF is reserved for verified artists. Verification keeps the catalogue authentic: every track belongs to a real person who owns the rights to it.

Step 1: create an account

Register with your email or sign in with Google, Apple or Microsoft. Complete your profile with your real name and a profile picture. You can hide your last name from other users in Settings.

Step 2: apply for verification

Open your profile settings and choose Apply for Artist Verification. The form asks for links to your existing music profiles (Spotify, Apple Music, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, SoundCloud) and a short bio. Links that clearly show you as the artist speed things up.

Step 3: review

The SODAMNTUFF team reviews applications by hand. You get an email when a decision is made. If something is missing you can reapply with more information.

What changes once you are verified

  • A verified badge on your profile, posts and tracks.
  • Upload singles and albums, with cover art, genre, language, featured artists and ISRC codes.
  • A public artist page at sodamntuff.com/u/your-handle that search engines index, plus a page per track and album.
  • Create events with RSVP and host listening sessions.
  • Eligibility for the curated Top 10 and the featured playlists.

Verification never costs anything and does not change who owns your music: you do, always.
